From Buffalo to California

We spend one day and night in Buffalo finishing up a few things before we left to make our drive across the country. We told ourselves we would take our time getting to Colorado, but we missed the kids and we were anxious to see them. We drove for 12 hours the first day, almost 12 the second day and then just a few more the 3rd day so we could see the kids in the morning. The kids were just as excited to see us as we were to see them! Hayden didn't want Josh to leave his sight. We brought the kids new toys and they loved them.

Before Josh left for officer training we promised him that when daddy came home from officer training we would take him to see Cars 2.  It was our way of giving him something to look forward to and a timeline. We took him to the first matinee of the day and he fell asleep half way through because it was his nap time. We sure love that little guy!

We stuck around Colorado for a few days to hang out with the family and then Josh and his brother Jayson drove our car to our new house in Twentynine Palms, California and the kids and I got on an airplane and met them there the next day.

saying goodbye to Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Kalee
