Colorado

After a few months in the desert we decided that it would be fun to take a trip to beautiful Colorado. We wanted to see family as well as have a little get away in the mountains. We flew in on Saturday and spent the day in Colorado Springs. The next morning we left for Leadville. We stopped along the way at some look out points, for some lunch and to stop at a park along the way...and to snap a few photos!

and we had to stop for a cheetos snack!

There is an awesome fish hatchery that we had to stop at. The kids LOVED it!

 We stayed in this cute little cabin with 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a loft bedroom and 

a kitchen and living room

The next day we got up and went to Turquoise Lake

 It is so beautiful! We love it!

We skipped rocks, threw sticks and rocks in the lake, took a ton of pictures and eventually ended up getting in the lake!

We stopped on the way back to Colorado Springs to take some pictures with the beautiful scenery

We came back to Colorado Springs and had a day to hang out with uncle Jamison before heading back home
