11 months

I can not believe Hayden is 11 months old already! That means he's not too far away from 12 months, which is ONE year! CRAZY. As the time goes and he grows and grows he just gets so much smarter and funner! He is a wiggle worm that's for sure! He HATES holding still to have his diaper changed, or get dressed. After his baths Josh and I tag team to get him dressed. One of us lotions while the other one puts his diaper on and then his jammies while someone entertains him so he'll lay there! Hayden is getting so smart. He can say about 5 words. Dog...which was his first word other than mama & dada... Mama, Dada, Bye-Bye, Ball. He can climb the stairs...super scary for me! He climbs up to everything. Pulls stuff off of shelves, turns on and off the TV, Claps, Stands alone for a few seconds, drinks out of a straw and opens and closes everything...cupboards, books, drawers, doors, toys. He knows where things are if we say "where's the dog" or "where's your monkey" or "go get the ball" he looks for them or goes right to them. He sometimes cries when we set him down or when we walk out of the room, but most of the time he can play by himself for a period of time. If he hasn't seen Josh all day he really clings to him at night. He crawls over to him and climbs up his leg. He is funny sometimes he really wants his Dad and sometimes he really wants his Mom. It's funny that he already knows what he can get from each of us. He LOVES bathtime and books. When he's playing if it becomes quiet I will go to find him and he will be playing in his room with his books. Scattering them all over and opening all of them one at a time to read them. He also can stay pretty happy in the car or while running errands with a book in his hand. He is learning to feed himself with a spoon. He loves it...sometimes a little too much! You're so much fun, Hayden. We love you so much!
loves being outside
so happy!
this is a new thing he's doing. screamign at the top of his lungs! Usually it's for no reason...just discovering that he can do it, I guess. And sometimes it's because he wants us to pay attention to him.
LOVES books!
having a little animal show with his stuffed animals and his Dad
Loves smoothies
