Not all it was cracked up to be

{I know I look AWESOME but keep in mind it was POURING rain!}

So we went to the Fray the other night and it was POURING rain! Not our ideal concert weather, but we braved it. Of course we bought the cheapest tickets, which are at the very back on the lawn with no tent over us. We got there in time for the last 1/2 hour of the opening show waited about 30 min for the Fray to come out and stayed for about 5 songs from the Fray. Then we decided that we had enough of the rain, people blowing smoke in our face, teenagers making out or doing things SO inappropriate for a public place and we were drenched so we headed home. It was fun to be together and do something we don't normally do but I think next time we'll spend our $50 on something else! The Fray did put on a good show, but I think we're just getting old!

Father's Day

We had such a good Father's Day. Hayden and I made Josh a breakfast burrito and a smoothie and took it to him in bed. We love you Josh! Thanks for being such an awesome Husband and Dad!

ONE YEAR

He's been doing this funny craw on the grass lately

I had to include this one because we get this occasionally. He's screaming as loud as he can. Usually he isn't upset he just does it in the car when he isn't getting the attention he wants. But in this picture he's letting me know that he's had enough!

FirST TooTH

On Monday June 22 Hayden got his first tooth! The left central incisor. Pretty exciting since he's already one! He eats everything really well but I'm sure this tooth and the others that are coming will only help!

Birthday Party

We had Hayden's first birthday party on Monday. It was planned for the park, but the weather ended up not being park weather that day so we had it at our house. Everyone came ate pizza, cupcakes, and plenty of suckers! Played together, with the toys and with our dog...he's always a hit! Hayden had a great time with all of his friends!

Hayden's 12 Month Stats:

Height: 30 1/4in. ~ 60th percentile

Weight: 21lbs 3oz. ~ 25th percentile

Head Circumfrince: 18 1/4 in. ~ 50th percentile

About a week before Hayden's birthday he was promoted to a forward facing carseat. He loves it! He can see us better and we can see what he's doing, and it's easier to hand him stuff.

He is starting to learn to feed himself with a spoon.
